First class honours graduate joins the team!
A post from our newest member of the team Matthew Selleck:
“This summer I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree at the University of Plymouth, becoming a fully qualified Architectural Technologist after 4 years of study. My final hand ins consisted of providing a design for the New Engineering and Design Facility (NEDF), amongst a team consisting of Construction Managers, Architectural Engineers and a Building Surveyor all under the faculty of the Built Environment, going on to be awarded the CIOB prize for the best project 2020. Alongside this project, I also proposed a mixed use development on Sutton Harbour, with an emphasis on improved spatial standards and accessibility of the living accommodation. I have been nominated for the CIAT National Design Awards 2020 for this project which was informed by my dissertation ‘Domestic Matters: a detailed look in to the spatial standards of the home’ that tackled the limited legal requirements of quality of space and the inherent impacts on natural lighting and accessibility, as well home enjoyment.”
The work mentioned by Matthew can be seen in the link below, and he is now on board as part of the team to deliver quality and thoughtful architectural design.
